Sponsor visits provide a unique opportunity for sponsors to connect with their sponsored children and foster meaningful relationships. When sponsors travel with friends, it often leads to more vulnerable children receiving sponsorship.
In February 2024, our Board member and Sponsor Frans Wennich visited Help Africa accompanied by guests, Knud Nielsen from Denmark and Jette Villholth Jensen from Spain. During their visit, they toured our operational areas, including the Katanga slum and Buyiga Island, as well as our partner schools.
Their visit was a blessing when they decided to each sponsor a child from Buyiga Island by giving them an opportunity to receive good quality education. Esther Namate and Christine Nakaffe are very happy to be in school like other children.
We are forever grateful to Frans, Knud, and Jette for their kindness and commitment to transforming the lives of these children from a remote Island. Their support will have a lasting impact on their futures.
