Terms of agreement for individual contributions/donations
When you contribute through our website, you can choose a onetime contribution/donation or enter into a sponsor agreement for one or more of our children who need your support.
You can read in our personal data policy about how we process your personal data.
Agreement terms for fixed contributions/donations and sponsor agreements
When you choose to enter into a sponsorship agreement through the Help Africa Foundation, you enter into an agreement for a fixed contribution every quarter.
Our online payment system is administered by the association Help Africa in Denmark. All payments go to our Danish bank and incoming donations and sponsor fees are continuously transferred to our office in Kampala, Uganda on monthly basis.
The first invoice is issued as soon as you have been approved as a sponsor. The invoice contains a payment link for each payment issued via Stripe, which you must use when paying.
Subsequently, you will be charged for sponsor contributions every quarter. Invoices are issued at the end of the month and are collected before the end of the current quarter.
The same applies if you have entered into an agreement to pay every 6 month or once a year. Here the payment will be collected before the end of the current period.
The amount will be deducted automatically via the credit card you used when you signed up, unless otherwise agreed by email to
If you enter into an agreement to pay a fixed contribution, the agreement runs from the day you sign up for a sponsor agreement until the end of the current school year (calendar year), as it is important to us that the children do not have to interrupt their schooling in the middle of a school year.
The agreement can be terminated by email
We would like to point out that there is no right of withdrawal for contributions or sponsorships that have already been made.
You can read in our Privacy Policy, which and how we process your personal data in connection with fixed contributions.
