Help Africa in partnership with the Dental Titan Team from Spain, organized a dental medical camp from 31st May to 4th June 2024. The team was led by Dr. Sam Mark and wife Samira Mark, their son Damien Mark and Dr. Soheil Mark.
The camp was held in various locations, including Help Africa offices in Rubaga Community, Buyiga Island, Katanga Slum and Kawuku Parents School. It served a total of 596 children including 292 girls and 304 boys, providing essential dental care services to the vulnerable children between ages 5 to 18 years by doing general check-ups, extractions, and fillings.
In addition to these services, the team conducted oral health talks to educate the children on how to take good care of their teeth.
They gave out donations of toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary pads, glasses, clothes, sandals, books, colours, pencils to the children at all locations.
We appreciate so much the Dental Titans for extending free dental services to the vulnerable children in the slums and other parts of Uganda.
