Background
Desire was abandoned by his father before he was born and his mother left him with her friend when he was 6 years and never returned back until today. They do not know whether his parents are alive or not.
His guardian has 5 children of her own and she is a single mother and also not doing well financially.
To earn a living, she is hired to dig on other peoples garden once in a while and earns a very small income which is very little to take care of her children and also pay for Desire’s school fees.
