Background
Jovia comes from a family of more than 12 children.
She stays with her mother and over 8 siblings in a very small single room. Both her parents are alive but the father refused to give the children and the mother any support because he claims some of these chidren are not his own
To earn a living, Jovia’s mother washes other people’s clothes in the slum from which she earns a very small income to support her big family with basics and also pay for her chidren’s schoolfees.
Most of Jovia’s siblings have never been in school due to lack of schoolfees.
Jovia was first sponsored in 2018 but her sponsorship ended in February 2026 and she can not be able to resume school.
Jovia is looking for another opportunity to be sponsored so that she can beable to resume school and be able to achieve a bright future.
