Background

Davis together with his 3 siblings stay with their mother in Katanga slum. Both parents are alive but separated because their father was violently abusing their mother and almost killed her. Their mother decided to ran away with her children to save her life.

Davis’s mother hawks fruits in the traffic nearby their home and sometimes her fruits are confiscated by the city council and she is left with nothing and has to start from zero again.

From her small business, Davis’s mother earns 1 USD a day which can not cater for rent, food, clothing as well as paying for her children’s school fees. The father of the children does not want to hear anything concerning the children and he does not give them any support.

Davis is looking for sponsorship so that he can be able to achieve a bright future.
