Background

Caroline lost her father in a car accident when she was 5 months old. Her mother was left with 7 children all under her care. Caroline shares a father with the first 4 children. The father of the last 2 children got mentally disabled and he is now kept at a mental disability home.

Caroline stays in a single small room in the slum with her family. Her mother hawks dry mushrooms and bathing sponges and earns 1.5 USD a day.

From her small income, it is very difficult to save and her sustain all her children in school. Due to lack of school fees, Caroline is out of school most of the time.

She is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that she can be able to stably stay in school and achieve a bright future.
