Christmas is a time for joy, giving, and sharing love with those around us. At Help Africa, we believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, regardless of their background or circumstances. This year, we organized a Christmas party for over 300 kids from different Slums of Kampala and it was an unforgettable celebration!.
The party was held at Help Africa Gardens, which was transformed into a party area. As the kids arrived, their faces lit up with excitement and anticipation.
The day was packed with fun activities, games, and entertainment. The kids danced to their favorite tunes, played games, and even participated in a different talent show where our very own choir danced cultural dances to the kids. The energy was electric, and the joy was unforgettable!
No Christmas party would be complete without a delicious feast! Our team worked tirelessly to prepare a mouth-watering spread of traditional African dishes, including Matooke, rice, Irish potatoes, chapati, chicken and beef which is every child’s favorite here and G.nuts. The kids (and adults!) indulged in their favorite foods and drinks, including sodas.
As part of our Christmas party, we had a very joyful moments that was cake cutting and every child was happy to cut and eat a big piece of cake.
