15 years ago, the Help Africa Founder Kim Madsen embarked on a mission of transforming the lives of the vulnerable children from the slums in Kampala from no one to someone
Today we are proud to have 18 graduates with valuable skills and knowledge and with a transformed life.
On 10th May 2025, as a way to celebrate this great milestone, Help Africa had its 15th anniversary celebrations that was unforgettable with our founder Kim Madsen, Help Africa staff, our graduates, Help Africa children, some of the parents and our partners that have walked this great journey of transformation with our beneficiaries and the organization.
The celebrations were filled with excitement, sharing stories of our journey and heartfelt gratitude and performances from our enthusiastic Help Africa children’s choir. The anniversary celebrations caught attention of the local media with Help Africa featuring in prominent media outlets and we were proud to share our impact with the community.
We are grateful for each and every individual who has walked this journey of transformation for a decade and half with Help Africa and look forward to many more years of making a difference.
