IMO HENRY

Henry stays with his grandmother in Katanga slum in a very small room with his young brother and  goes to a poor  small school in the slum. Both his parents are alive but are unemployed and very needy. He used to stay in the village and was not going to school because his parents could not afford to pay his school fees. His parents are peasant farmers who dig for food and earn very little income from the little produce left which is not enough to cater for the children’s basics and save for Henry’s school fees.

His grandmother sells bananas on the streets outside the slum and earns 1USD as profit a day which is very little to pay for house rent, food and also save for Henry’s school fees.

Henry frequently misses school, he is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that he can get a better life.
